A Passion for Helping People
It is truly an honor and blessing to have the privilege to care for my patients. I recognize it takes a great deal of trust, for many people, to place their oral health and smile in my hands. That’s why I strive to establish a connection with each patient, based on open and honest communication.
I want every person to feel comfortable telling me about their goals, as well as any fears they might have. I will listen, without judgment, and work with them to find a care approach they are comfortable with.
I take being a dentist very seriously, because of the levels of trust and responsibility involved. I want to make a positive, lasting difference in the lives of each of my patients: helping them to maintain their teeth for a lifetime, and ensuring they have a confident, beautiful, and healthy smile.
I’m most passionate about educating my patients about the advancements that make dental visits easier, quicker, and painless. There are many techniques and materials that weren’t available even ten years ago, and those have improved the patient experience. I love sharing that with people.
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, North Carolina State University
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
Each year I take many hours of continuing dental education. This ensures I remain current with ongoing changes in the field and am able to offer my patients access to the best care options. I have focused a lot on implant dentistry. Other courses have included cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, Invisalign training, and complex restorative treatement. I also maintain the following certifications:
- Basic Life Support(CPR)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support(PALS)
- American Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- North Carolina Dental Society
- Raleigh / Wake County Dental Society
In the Community
I’m involved with my local church and its outreach efforts. Over the past couple years I’ve ministered to unwed mothers, prisoners, orphans, and local elementary schools.
Additionally, I’ve served as the part-time staff dentist for the Samaritan Health Center at the Durham Rescue Mission. I also volunteer my time with other dental clinics, including Wake Smiles, Baptist Men’s Bus, and Missions of Mercy. As an office, we host one free dental day a year to serve those without access to care.
Lecturing and Training
When not treating patients, Dr. Brantley enjoys training dentists from all over the country and Canada on how to use the Solea hard and soft tissue laser as well CEREC CAD/CAM dentistry. He lectures in the Wendell Learning Center (located above Wendell Family Dentistry) and periodically throughout the country.
Outside the Office
I grew up right here in Wendell and recently moved back to the town that helped raise me. My wife Lindsay and I have been married since 2009. We have 2 lovely young daughters, Caroline Grace and Ainsley Rae.
When not working, I’m usually spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy staying fit through working out, running, and swimming. I’m an avid reader, who can sometimes be found gardening and tackling yard projects.
Dr. Will Griffin was born and raised in Greenville, NC and is proud to call North Carolina home. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he began work as a sales representative for Practicon Dental, a family-owned dental supply company in Greenville. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Griffin was ready to pursue his true passion of caring for and serving others through dentistry.
Dr. Griffin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, he developed a strong interest in all areas of dentistry---restorative and cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. Both during and after dental school, he has been driven by the philosophy that top quality dental care can be provided to the entire family in a single office.
Dr. Griffin has an innate desire to serve others which has led him to volunteer in a number of organizations, including the NC Missions of Mercy (NC MOM) dental clinics and the Give Kids a Smile Day program. Additionally, he has provided dental care to under-served people in the Dominican Republic.
While education is a key component in Dr. Griffin’s determination to provide the finest care for his patients, his warm, friendly personality is an equally important part of his practice. His patients have consistently praised him for his ability to listen to their concerns, ease their anxiety, relate to their lives, and care for them as if they were family. Using those skills, he is eagerly anticipating meeting and caring for current and new patients of Wendell Family Dentistry.
Will and his wife, Rachel, a Physician Assistant with the Hey Clinic in Raleigh, are thrilled to make their home in the Triangle. They are both involved in the community through the Summit Church. Their daughter, Avery, born in 2016, is the center of their world. During his free time, Dr. Griffin enjoys just about anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and all activities involving water.
Dr. Christopher Vo was born, raised and educated in Eastern North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University as an EC Scholar where he earned his B.S. in biology. Following graduation he was accepted to UNC’s School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. degree. During dental school Dr. Vo focused on learning the newest dental technologies and applying them in some of most advanced forms of dental treatment. While both in undergrad and dental school, Dr. Vo volunteered with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy and continues to provide dental care to underserved patients across the state. Dr. Vo also volunteers as an adjunct instructor with the UNC School of Dentistry and enjoys working with dental students at these volunteer clinics.
As a dentist, Dr. Vo strongly focuses on two things: patient education and preventive healthcare. While he enjoys helping patients correct their dental problems, he tells folks that the most valuable service that he can offer is to help them avoid dental problems. Achieving that goal starts with helping patients first understand why their natural, healthy teeth are - almost always - better than anything that he can offer as a replacement and then secondly helping patients preserve and protect what they naturally have. The result? Less time drilling and filling. More time enjoying the things that really matter in life.

MARKETING and LECTURING
Combining his interests in dentistry and the visual arts, Dr. Vo works closely with other small business owner dentists helping them establish their practice brands and developing authentic ways to market themselves and their practices. At Wendell Family Dentistry, Dr. Vo directs marketing efforts as well as the practice’s community involvement. Dr. Vo also works closely with Dr. Brantley at the Wendell Learning Center (located above Wendell Family Dentistry) and gives marketing/branding presentations to fellow dentists.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vo enjoys photography and making short films (often times about teeth…). During spring and summer you might find me dripping sweat on the tennis court or at NC’s crystal coast fishing or digging clams with his friends, family and English setter, Ladybird. He understands he looks very young and has been known to joke that he plans "to go back to high school if this whole dentistry thing doesn’t work out”.
I like building relationships with people during their visits. Everyone has their own stories to share, and I enjoy hearing them. Those conversations create a bond and we often become friends. I’m new to both the dental field and our practice, having become part of our team in 2014. In addition to assisting our doctors when needed, I spend a lot of time interacting with patients. I schedule their visits and handle insurance and personal payments, too.
I live in the Corinth Holder Community with my husband Ricky, daughters Jordan and Morgan, and granddaughter Kamdyn. I enjoy spending my free time with my girls, riding motorcycles with Ricky, and going to the beach.
I am honored to begin my dental career with Dr. Brantley and his team. Helping others and making a difference in their lives is something I am very passionate about. When turning 16, I was quoted in my local newspaper as saying I wanted to be a dental hygienist. I knew then and have never doubted since that it was the right career path for me. I love what I do.
I worked front desk to assisting where needed prior to graduating with my dental hygiene degree in 2003. I worked in Wendell as hygienist for more than 10 years before my career path took me to Raleigh for a couple years. I learned a lot of valuable information and technology, but always missed the people of Wendell. We are members of Wendell Baptist Church and active in BSF. I kept hearing about a new dentist in Wendell, that brought the technology of Raleigh to a warm inviting atmosphere in Wendell. Everything fell in place for me to become part of Dr. Brantley's vision, which each team member believes in. We truly love our time together and with our patients.
Dentistry is the gateway to total health. We know inflammation plays a big role in most disease processes. Dr. Brantley gives us the tools, time, training and resources to give the best total care to our patients. Treating, preventing gum disease and reducing inflammation has far reaching benefits. We want to get to to know you and be your lifetime dental home.
I do enjoy my time at Wendell Family Dentistry. When I am not at the office, my favorite activity is spending time with my wonderful family I have been so blessed with. There is never a dull moment. My family and I love spending time outdoors, the simple things can be the most fun!
Growing up I was a sucker for a fresh cleaning at the dentist. It was also great to always be cared for by such a fun a friendly team. These experiences at a young age are what sparked my interest in becoming the dental hygienist I am today. Someday I hope my patients look forward to their hygiene appointments for the same reasons I did. My heart for this occupation is to create genuine relationships with my patients while I help them reach maximum oral health.
In May 2018 I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in dental hygiene. I was was born and raised in Raleigh, where I returned after graduating. I thank God for blessing me with a passion to care for others and work with like minded coworkers with hearts to serve others well. I am looking forward to meeting you and being here for your dental needs.
